FDM 3D Printing Service

Professional FDM 3D printing for prototypes, functional parts, and custom designs

What is FDM 3D Printing?

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) is the most widely used 3D printing technology. It works by heating thermoplastic filament and extruding it layer by layer to build your design from the ground up. This process creates durable, functional parts perfect for prototyping, tooling, and end-use applications.

FDM printing offers an excellent balance of strength, affordability, and versatility, making it ideal for both professional and personal projects.

When to Use FDM

FDM is ideal for functional prototypes, jigs and fixtures, tooling, mechanical parts, and large-scale models. Perfect when you need strength and durability over fine detail.

Materials Available

We offer PLA for general use, PETG for strength and flexibility, ABS for heat resistance, TPU for flexible parts, and specialty materials like wood-fill and carbon fiber composites.

What to Expect

Your parts will have visible layer lines characteristic of FDM printing. We ensure proper orientation for strength, optimal infill density, and professional finishing options including sanding and painting.

Turnaround Times

Standard: 5-7 business days
Express: 2-3 business days
Rush: 24-48 hours (subject to availability)

Turnaround time begins after design approval and payment confirmation.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept STL, OBJ, STEP, and 3MF files. If you have a different format, contact us and we'll work with you to find a solution.

Can you help with design modifications?

Yes! Our team can assist with design optimization for 3D printing, including adding supports, adjusting wall thickness, and improving printability.

What is the maximum print size?

Our FDM printers can handle parts up to 300mm x 300mm x 400mm. Larger parts can be printed in sections and assembled.
